Chair Leonard Litscher called the meeting to order at 7:00PM, Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 at the Cross Town Hall/Community Center at W614 Buehler Valley Road. Present were 9 electors: Leonard Litscher, Wanda Putz, Adam Litscher, Jack Wicka , Carol Risley, Dick Putz, Bob Putz, Carol A. Litscher , Marcel Litscher and 2 non-electors: Bob Baures and Carrie Venner.
The notice of the Annual Meeting was posted, published, and mailed upon request.
Minutes of the April 18th, 2017 Annual Meeting were approved and read (MOTION: A. Litscher/B. Putz), no opposing votes. The minutes of the November 2017 Budget Hearing/Meeting were read for informational purposes.
The treasurer report was given by Treasurer Wanda Putz: a checking account balance of $92,417.77, Money Market account balance of $38,336.36, Money Market Fire truck set aside balance of $21,143.41 and FireTruck CD balance of $20,332.27.
Road Projects for the 2017 year included: Flood Damage, Hot mix Doelle Valley Culvert, Barth Road/Doelle intersection: riprap, Crack-fill/chip-seal parts of Oak Valley dugway, Canada Ridge Road, Schaffner Valley and Brandhorst.
Long Range Highway Goals for 2018: Finish Mustang Road: reconstruct,widen and raise base, 2 culverts; River Road: replace culverts; Flood Damage; Leonard’s Road.
Long Range Highway Goals for 2019 and beyond: River Road: wedge and double chip-seal; Litscher Road: widen and reconstruct; Crack-fill/chip-seal town roads in need; Buehler Valley Road: hot mix corner; Engel Road: reconstruct & blacktop; Jacob Kiel Road: overlay blacktop
Fire protection costs: $13,737.65 runs/asst; $731.13 fuel share.
The Annual report was presented. After discussion, the Town adopted the Annual Report (MOTION: C. Risley/M. Litscher), 9 in favor, no opposing votes.
The date for the 2019 Annual Meeting is Tuesday, April 16th, 2019 at 7:00PM.
With no further business to come before the electors, the meeting adjourned (MOTION: B.Putz/Risley), no opposing votes.
